This policy describes the personal information Sendloom handles when businesses use its bulk SMS service. Businesses uploading contacts are responsible for collecting and using those contacts lawfully and for handling requests from their recipients.
We handle account email, business name and sender ID; uploaded contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, lists, tags and opt-out preferences; campaign copy, recipients, send times and delivery status; and wallet transaction and service usage records. Authentication information is used to protect account access. We may process technical information needed to secure and operate the site.
We use this information to manage accounts and contacts, submit SMS campaigns, prevent messages to opted-out contacts, show delivery reports and wallet activity, respond to security or service issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use uploaded contacts to send our own marketing to your customers.
SMS recipient numbers, sender ID and message content are shared with BulkSMSNigeria and the mobile networks needed to deliver messages. Account and campaign data are stored using our hosted application services. Information may be disclosed when legally required or to address fraud and security incidents. We do not sell uploaded contact lists.
Account holders can manage and delete contacts and mark them opted out inside Sendloom. If you receive an SMS from a Sendloom customer, contact that business to request that it stop messaging you; the business controls its audience. For questions about your Sendloom account or a privacy request, use the contact page. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate dispute and security purposes.
Account access requires sign-in and data access is scoped to the account. No system is perfectly secure. We keep information while needed to provide the service and for applicable legal or operational purposes; a specific deletion timeframe is not currently promised. Wallet funding and marketing email campaigns are not currently available.
We may update this policy as the service changes and will show the new effective date here.
